Armed with a degree in Physical Education and an
MBA, Kay Frances took a position as Director of
Marketing for a national restaurant chain in Oklahoma.
However, her life began to veer in another direction.
Kay started doing standup comedy as a means to
stave off the boredom of living alone in Oklahoma.
Before she knew it, people were actually offering her
work as a standup comedian. So she left corporate
America and hit the road! She spent the next several
years working all over the country as a Professional
Standup Comedian.

Kay lived and performed in New York City where she
further advanced her career with television appearances
and regular slots in New York City's top comedy clubs.
But Kay's years in New York mostly taught her to
face her fears and manage her stress.
Family duty called and Kay returned to Ohio and
became her mother's primary caregiver.
Kay's years as a stand up comedian convinced her of
humor's power to reduce stress but she learned
first-hand the healing effects of humor as she and her
mother found a way to laugh everyday.
